Valparaiso is a Port that holds lots of history itself, but to take tours safely and walk around and tour around safe, you need simple things to do in order to avoid all that hazzard. Chile is considered a safe place, compared to other countries, but you always need to follow certain things once you get to a popular port:
1.- Do not carry any Gold earings or jewellery while you are walking around
2.- Do not carry with you Passport
3.- Do not be distracted with your cameras
4.- Do not put your purse or wallet in your back or back pocket, make sure
you carry it in front of you
